About me

I became interested in herbal medicine when I was looking for a natural way to support myself through peri-menopause and menopause. This led to exploring herbal options for other health issues for myself and my family, and finally to a new career. After 5 years' study, I graduated with a Level 6 Diploma in Herbal Medicine, accredited by the National Institute of Medical herbalists (NIMH). I then joined Medicine Tree as a practitioner, working alongside Anita Ralph FNIMH, under whose expert guidance I did much of my clinical training.
I am passionate about introducing people to the possibilities of herbal medicine to treat or support many different conditions, whether as an alternative to, or alongside, conventional medicine. I am particularly interested in supporting patients coping with emotional or mental health challenges, whether these are diagnosed conditions in themselves, or responses to difficult physiological or social circumstances.
I live locally with my husband and two children. I love gardening, swimming, and going for long walks in the beautiful Kent countryside with my constant companion, a miniature poodle called Annie.
